Really very good dishes!I advise you to order several dishes and share (as the Chinese do) rather than taking one dish per person. It allows you to taste more dishes. And the shrimp fritters with lychee: original and good!
MoreCheap room. not cheap
Awful place to eat. Way overpriced! Visited here last April 2019 and it was raining badly that we ended up in here eating, terribly small portions of the food. Wasnt great at all! Customer service was also shockingly disappointing!
MoreSmall fishing
The best duck we have ever eaten! Very elegant and meticulous preparation. This is absolutely delicious! We like it very much. The staff here are very friendly and the best is to see Chef Chebang Soder in a special way. They brought us to eat at the restaurant.
MoreI ate this a couple of times in VN and wish to try it at the source (Beijing)
Affordable, good service!
Locals like to bring Peking duck and other food here. This is a typical local restaurant. noisy. not everyone may like it. in general, it’s interesting and edible. Near the Red Theater with a kungfu show, so you can have dinner either before or after
MoreYummy peking duck without the queue. 110 yuan for half a duck with all the trimmings. It's not fine dining rates so don't expect fine dining services but it's pleasant enough. Just 3 minutes walk from the Red Theatre if you are coming to watch the show, The Legend of Kung Fu.
MoreIf you are going to the Red Theatre (only 200 m south), then this is a good place to have dinner. Yummy duck. It's crispy and juicy. Normally at other places, there's a 45 minute prep time for duck, but this restaurant has duck on your table at about 25-30 min. We had the option of having the duck with flower petal preparation. This is not special. Basically, it's a side dish of edible flower pedals that is available when assembling the duck sandwiches. We also had 2 vegetable dishes. One dish of cauliflower and bacon. The other was a vegetable medley. Both were delicious.
MoreTHERE SHOULD BE A NO STAR OPTION. Just went for 'dinner' and it was just awful! Zero service, fried rice was sloppy, duck was overcooked and to top it off, tea was 48RMB..... (10AUD!!!) for two people!!!!!!! STAY AWAY IF POSSIBLE! EVEN THE HOLE IN THE WALL RESTAURANTS NEARBY WOULD SERVE BETTER FOOD!!!!!!
MoreSo good, we ate here twice! They also speak decent English and the menu is easy to read. They will also show you how to roll the duck if you'd like.
MoreOrdinary
First time eating Beijing roast duck, I feel pretty goodThe service staff is good, the tea is very diligent
Moreterrible service. though i could fully make myself understood in chinese, some staffs persisted in speaking english to us. I don't know why. besides, they suggested us comperarively expensive roast duck set, but we said we prefer cherper one, and there apparently showed irritation on their faces. quite unprofessional and never again.
MoreThe taste is OK, the amount is too small, and the service is too bad. not worth.
MoreVery reasonable for peking duck. 200 rmb. Excellent food. Large menu with good range of prices.
